Welcome to the Fresno Pet Cemetery website.

Thank you for placing your trust in us to serve you and your pet. Please note that due to an overwhelming need for our services, we are currently only accepting customers who have made an appointment with us in advance. If your pet has passed and you are unable to reach us for an appointment, please contact your local veterinarian or one of the two emergency veterinarians in Fresno listed below. Thank you for your understanding.

Changing times, but same commitment to your pets.

As we all continue to make adjustments to our daily lives in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to take a moment to thank you for being a part of the Fresno Pet Cemetery family. We have been in business for over 75 years now, and want to reassure you that we continue to be here to serve you and your pets.

At Fresno Pet Cemetery, the health, safety, and wellbeing of our clients, pets, employees, and community is our first priority. We plan to keep our services available to you as long as it's safe. Please note that we have changed our hours slightly to Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Our team is taking all of the necessary precautions to ensure safety during this temporary and unique time. We are now meeting all customers outside of our office. If you are not greeted upon arrival, please ring the doorbell & wait under the canopy that is set up, observing social distancing of at least 6 feet from others.

It's always challenging to have more questions than answers. We're working hard to continue to treat each and every one of your pets with dignity and respect while implementing the best safety precautions for all.

Just knowing that we are helping to make a difficult time a little bit easier warms our hearts during this challenging time. We appreciate your dedication and support.

Thank You,
Jim Barbato & Staff

About us...

The Fresno Pet Cemetery was established in 1945 by Mr. Lincoln S. Madsen. His main objective was to provide a cemetery where people could have their family pet buried at a reasonable price for the average person. When Mr. Madsen retired in 1974 the Fresno Pet Cemetery was sold to Mr. Robert Beckman who had been associated with the cemetery since 1964. The ownership of the cemetery is now in the hands of Mr. Jim Barbato who has been associated with the Fresno Pet Cemetery since 1984. The cemetery has been under continuous development since its inception and was most recently expanded in May, 2002, with the incorporation of the final one-half acre of land.
